Finance Minister, Bill English, delivered the National governments second budget.  There were no real surprises as most of the content of the budget had been well signaled in the run up to the budget.  This budget was very much a class based budget- a budget for the rich - paid for by you!

Mall Workers Strike for Union Rights and Pay Rise

Labour history has been made. New Zealand has had it's first Mall workers strike. Workers in JB Hi-Fi in Albany, organised with the Unite Union, were on strike for better pay and against a culture of bullying and intimidation against union members.
